Mitchelstown Literary Society is delighted to be associated with this new and unique addition to Ireland’s educational outreach.

Ireland’s county of Cork, renowned for the beauty of its scenery, has been blessed since ancient times with an abundance of artistic talent, and the fame of its poets, novelists, painters and musicians is known throughout the world. The Cork Writers School Ireland, running for the first time in 2014, offers the chance to join in a celebration of that great flowering of talent, with the emphasis on its extraordinary literary achievement OR take the opportunity to become one of them by attending our creative writing programme, in the convivial and beautiful surroundings of Mitchelstown and the Galtee mountains.
